About Your AirBnB Host & Guide

Sarah Bott is a 23-year Portland resident and longtime former spokesperson for the City of Portland and State of Oregon. During her career she worked for three Portland mayors, the parks department, local water utility, and state environmental protection agency. This broad experience has given her a vast and unique insight into this fascinating and remarkable place, and many great stories to share.

Sarah is originally from Maui, Hawaii. She has BA degrees in both communications and political science from the University of Hawaii and an MA in Public Communications from American University in Washington, DC. She spent six years with the Peace Corps and enjoys traveling and learning about different cultures.
